Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1411.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services celebrating the life of Aline Bogan Paul will be held Monday, November 24, 2014, at an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Verdunville. She will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Celebrant for the Mass will be Fr. Billy Ruskoski, with Fr. Thomas Vu concelebrating. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at the church from 8:00 AM until time of Mass, with the rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be Curley Sterling III, Jude Franklin, Micah Baker, Tyra Yarber, Daniel Weidenborner, and Ryan Lamar. Aline, a native and lifelong resident of Verdunville, was born on March 31, 1928 to the late Theodore J. Bogan and Gladys Verdun Bogan. She was a devout Catholic who loved and served her church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Verdunville. She passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew her. Survivors include one son, John Paul and his wife Dawn Bourgeois Paul; one daughter, Erica P. Sterling and her husband Curley Sterling III; seven siblings, Theo, Carmencita, Ruth, Wayne, Mark, Gene, and Shiri Bogan; six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ryan, Colleen, and Jonah Sterling, and Hannah and Ethan Paul. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew A. Paul; and six siblings, Ray, McDonald, Bert, and Greta Bogan, LaQueta Raffray, and Kendall Bogan.
