Floyd Tardy, Sr., age 72, a resident of Four Corners died Sunday November 16, 
2014 at the Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, LA at 12:00 AM.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main 
Street in Franklin, LA., from 12:15 PM until funeral services at 2:00 PM. 

Burial will be in the St. Jude Cemetery in Jeanerette, LA. Minister Terry L. 
Joseph, Sr. will officiate the services.

Floyd leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Angel C. Tardy and Loretta 
M. Tardy of Four Corners, LA, Flora A. Tardy of Dallas, TX, Heather Z. Tardy of 
Lafayette, LA; one son, Floyd Wilson of Baldwin, LA; three children he helped 
to raise as his own, Kimberly Mannings of Houston, TX, Alfred Colbert Sr. of 
Newton, TX and Bernard Colbert of Baldwin, LA. three brothers, Clifton Tardy of 
Ashton, LA; Nedray Tardy of Beaumont, TX and Joseph Tardy of Baldwin, LA; five 
sisters, Vivian Williams, Yvonne Tardy and Linda (Cleveland) Alexis all of 
Baldwin, La, Margaret Loston of Four Corners, LA and Lillie (Clayton) Richards 
of Franklin, LA; his eleven grandchildren, Dale Sutton Jr., Leketha (Juan) 
Thomas, Deondrea Johnson, Kendrick Hines, Adrian Sutton, Randeasha Sutton, 
Deonka Tardy, Kendra Hines, Theron Alexander, Dheron Alexander, Aaliyah 
Jeanlouis and a host of great grandchildren, nieces & nephews and other 
relatives and friends.

Mr. Tardy was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Mae Brown-Tardy; one son, 
Floyd Tardy Jr., his parents, Lillie Mae Colbert-Tardy and Alfred Tardy; two 
grandchildren, Deon Sutton and Crystal Hines; three sisters, Gloria Ceasar, 
Charity Bell Alexander and JoAnn Ledet and three brothers, Clayton Tardy, Jesse 
Tardy and Calvin Tardy..
