Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1412.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services for Beatrice Marie Derouen Bourliea will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville. Fr. Ruben Primor will be the celebrant for the Mass. Serving as pallbearers will be Wilbert "Willie" Bourliea, Jr., Brandon Scelfo, Kyle Bourliea, Mark Simoneaux, Scott Broussard, and Rodney Ewing. Honorary pallbearers will be Frederick Bourliea, Samuel Scelfo, and Caleb Comeaux. A private burial will be held at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at the church from 8:00 AM until time of service, with the rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM. Mrs. Beatrice, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Franklin for the past 49 years. She passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Wilbert Joseph Bourliea, Sr.; three children, Sheila B. Scelfo and her husband Paul of Thibodaux, Wilbert "Willie" Bourliea, Jr. of Loreauville, and Karen B. Griffin and her husband Daniel of Thibodaux; four siblings, Luna D. Sonnier and her husband Danny, Gladys D. Landry, L. J. Derouen and his wife Dolores, and Johnny Derouen and his wife Elaine; three grandchildren, Brandon Scelfo, Kyle Bourliea, and Samuel Scelfo; one step-grandson, Derrick Scelfo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, R. L. Derouen and Ella Bourque Derouen; three siblings, Walter Derouen (infant), R. J. Derouen, and Mary Jane Gaspard.
