Marva Colbert-Hines age 66, a native of St. Mary Parish and a resident of Four 
Corners, La., died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 7:13 AM at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday December 20, 2014 at the 
Macedonia Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. 

Burial will follow in the Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, LA.  
Officiating, Rev. Carl Lewis.

Cherished and divine memories of will forever be remembered by her loving and 
devoted children, Trinette Casimier (Ronald) of TN, Brandi Edmond (Alonza) and 
Malika Hines both of Jeanerette, LA; three brothers, Darrell Colbert, Sr. 
(Elnora) and Leonard Colbert, Sr. both of Four Corners, LA and Roy N Colbert, 
Sr. (Alice) of Alexandria, LA; six sisters, Cora Bryant, Amelia Colbert and 
Gloria Washington all of New Orleans, LA, Laura Selders of La Place, LA, Louise 
Williams of Jeanerette, LA, and Luada Washington (Larry) of Four Corners, LA; 
three grandchildren, Ryan Casimier, Alonzalin Edmond and Zoey Edmond; a special 
friend, Herman Mitchell of Jeanerette, LA; as well as several other nieces, 
nephews, relatives and friends.

Ms. Hines was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Clara August-
Colbert, Sr., one sister, Pearl C. Teno and two brothers, Albert Colbert, Jr.
