Funeral services for Herman Antoine Crochet will be held Monday, January 5, 
2015, at 2:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin. 

He will be laid to rest in Perpetual Park Cemetery. 

Father Lloyd Benoit will conduct the services. A gathering of family and 
friends will be held Monday at Ibert's from 9:00 AM until time of service, with 
the rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Crochet passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the 
Franklin Health Care Center. He was a native of Avoca Island and a longtime 
resident of Franklin.

Survivors include one brother, Paul Herbert Crochet and his wife Audrey; three 
sisters, Annie Mae Breaux, Mary Theriot and her husband Alvoid, and Elizabeth 
"Beth" Younger and her husband Floyd; niece and caregiver, Shirley "Chris" 
Rouly; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Joseph Crochet and Elizabeth 
Dupuis Crochet; five brothers, Emmette Joseph Crochet, Sr., Murphy E. Crochet, 
Sr., Edward J. Crochet, Sr., Gilbert "Mickey" Crochet, and Elie Crochet; and 
two sisters, Shirley Crochet Migues and Elvidge Rita Crochet.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
