Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1501.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mario Joseph Guarisco, 77, a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Morgan City, passed away at Memorial Hospital – Gulfport on Friday, January 30, 2015. Mario will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Lisa Guarisco Minchew and her partner Bo Sanner, and Marianna Claire Guarisco and her partner Beth Curry; three grandchildren, Dara Elise Minchew and her partner Matt Irsfeld, Dustin Reese Minchew and his fiancée Haley Warrick, and Matthew Joseph Guarisco. Mario was preceded in death by his wife and forever love, Janis Ann Seely Guarisco; his parents, John Paul Guarisco and Katie Manfre Guarisco; two brothers, Peter John Guarisco and Salvadore Guarisco; his sister-in-law, Sadie Morella Guarisco. Pallbearers are his nephews, Peter J. Guarisco, Jr., Thomas A. Guarisco, Christopher P. Guarisco, Salvadore Guarisco, and his pals, Duval Arthur and Dr. Whybra J. Duay Jr. Honorary pallbearers are his nephews, Dr. Joseph S. Guarisco and Jeffery Guarisco, Don Guarisco, and his pals, Ovay Rogers and Leland Clements. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The visitation will resume on Thursday, February5, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Mario will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
