He passed away at Patterson Healthcare Center after a long battle with dementia at the age of 62. Steve was a member of Word of Life Family Church and was the bass player on the worship team for many, many years. He will be remembered as one of the most awesome bass guitar players in St. Mary Parish, a loving husband and father. He enjoyed playing sports, specifically being the quarterback of the Class of 1970 Berwick Panthers. He also enjoyed time spent with family and friends, watching LSU and the Saints, fishing, and playing the bass guitar. He worked for Oceaneering with 15 years of dedicated service, where he was a machinest/mechanical technician. Steve will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 10 years, Rebecca Adams, of Bayou Vista; four sons: Cody Adams, Shaun Adams and his wife Lorelei, Joshua Adams and Shane Price; and one daughter: Chelsey Price; six grandchildren: Caleb Adams, Cullen Adams, Bria Adams, Riley Adams, Lilian Ivy Adams and Sophia Adams. He is also survived by his brother, Kevin Adams and his wife Donna of Bayou Vista; and two sisters: Tami Robichaux and her husband Steve of Patterson, and Teri Luke and her husband, Mike of Schriever and many nieces and nephews. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Ivy Adams and an infant brother, Kippy Michael Adams. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Steve will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the services. ===================
