James E. "Jimmy" Drinkwater, 65, a native of Plaquemine and lifelong resident 
of Centerville, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, in Franklin following 
a brief illness.

Survivors include his three children, Deana Drinkwater Young, Ben Drinkwater, 
and Christine Drinkwater; his mother, Inez Ashley Drinkwater; three siblings, 
Patricia Gail Drinkwater, Jackie Drinkwater-Maginnis, and David Lee Drinkwater; 
and six grandchildren, Emilie Young, Reece Young, Jack Drinkwater, Clara 
Drinkwater, Carlie Burton, and Brooke Burton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack R. Drinkwater.

Memorial services will be held in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Centerville at a 
later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Jimmy's memory 
to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70503,

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Hospice of 
Acadiana, Mrs. Kathy Carline Rhodes, as well as the numerous family members and 
friends who have supported Jimmy and the family throughout his final days.

Franklin, LA
