LOUVIERE, NAMAS JOSEPH, JR. 

Namas Joseph Louviere Jr., passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the age 
of 79. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Pelham Louviere; a son, Rick 
Schafer; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Namas J. Louviere Sr.; and is survived by 
a son, Randy Schafer (wife, Kate); and brother-in-law, Malcolm Pelham; and three 
grandchildren.

Mr. Louviere was born in Franklin and resided in Metairie for many years. He was 
a U. S. Army National Guard Veteran and a longtime employee of Stewart 
Enterprises.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Jacob Schoen and Son 
Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 
10 a.m., with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. 

Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, 
LA.
