Elnora "Nonnie" Raymond, 76, a lifetime resident of Morgan City passed away on 
Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center surrounded by 
her family.

Elnora was an avid shopper who loved to collect what-nots and display them 
around the home even to the point extra shelves were built in her home to 
accommodate her collections. She enjoyed traveling with her family and 
especially her husband, Sidney. Elnora had a heart full of love for all 
children and made sure she showed them how special they really were. She was 
loved by all who met her and will be sorely missed by her friends and family.

Elnora is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Sidney Raymond of Morgan 
City; four daughters: Cheryl Blanchard and husband, Ronnie of Morgan City, 
Peggy Opiela and husband, Johnny of Berwick, Ginny Raymond of Morgan City and 
Tina Crews and husband, Rodney of Bayou Vista; six grandchildren: Bryan 
Blanchard and wife, Stephanie, Brent Blanchard and wife, Bonnie, Hayley Opiela, 
Joshua Courtney and wife, Ann, Stephanie Courtney and Kristen Crews; five great 
grandchildren: Taylor, Olivia, Blake, Owen and Jackson; two brothers: Jim and 
John Beadle along with her adopted family, the Jones'.

Elnora was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Alberta Fernandez 
Beadle.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home 
beginning at 9am until time of service at 11am. 

Elnora will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service.
