He will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Centerville. Rev. Dr. Chris Holloway, pastor of Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton, will officiate the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, February 21, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary, and again Sunday at 12:00 PM until time of service. Cameron was born on July 1, 1991 in Ruston, LA, was a former resident of Centerville, where he attended school, and has resided in Franklin for the past year. He passed away at the age of 23 on Monday, February 16, 2015. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Following high school, Cameron attended South Central Louisiana Technical College Young Memorial Campus in Morgan City where he finished with honors in Electrical Technology. He then went on to enlist in the United States Navy, where he participated in two tours of duty, the first in South America and the second in the Middle East. Recently, he was employed with Pipeline Construction and Maintenance (PCM). His passion in life though was music. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Theresa Cecil Ryder and Michael Todd Ryder; his father, John Jeffery Watson; his sister, Bridget Martin Deslatte and her husband Farrell Deslatte, Jr.; his brothers, Dakota Millstead and Ian Watson; step-sister, Kinsey Bruce and her husband Aaron; his maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Janice and Kenny Stoller of Virginia; his paternal grandmother, Lucille Watson of Jonesboro, LA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-brother, Michael Todd Ryder II; his paternal grandfather, Dewey N. Watson; a great grandfather, Lester Easterling; and an aunt, Vicki Montgomery.
