WATSON, LOUIS JAMES, SR.

Mr. Louis James Watson Sr. was born September 8, 1936 in New Orleans to Oscar 
Watson Sr. and Lethal (Johnson) Watson. 

Both parents preceded him in death.

From the union, Louis Watson has five siblings, brother, Oscar Watson Jr. 
(deceased); sister, Ramona White (deceased); brother, Lennel Watson (deceased); 
sister, Diane Watson; and brother, Rev. Preston Watson (Precious).
Survivors include his wife, Gracie (Thomas); sisters-in-law, Molly Watson and 
Lucy Watson; children, Charmaine D. Watson, Louis James Watson Jr. (Lydia), 
Broderick T. Watson (Rishay), Travis Watson Sr. (Edily), Aaron L. Watson 
(Sindia), Sean J. Watson Sr. (Kelli); 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 
and countless nieces and nephews.

Services for Elder Louis James Watson Sr. were held Saturday, February 21, 2015 
at New Covenant Christian Church. The family wishes to express their sincere 
thanks for the flowers and other expressions of love during their time of 
bereavement.
