Ellen was born on October 8, 1926 in Bayou Chene the daughter of Clarence and Cecilia Aucoin LaCoste. Ellen was a very spiritual woman who loved her church and reading her bible, and was very faithful to both. She was a member of Twin City Gospel Church in Berwick where she was a prayer warrior praying for many people. She loved spending time with her family, she especially loved sharing the word of God with her family. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five children, Darlene Hooks and husband Johnnie Sr. of Berwick, Dewanna Lynn Matherne and husband Thomas of Houma, Mimi Guillory and husband Tony of Bayou Vista, James “Brother” Henry Falls Jr. and wife Jacqueline of Berwick, Lori Sue Falls of Bayou Vista; fourteen grandchildren, Nerissa Harrison, Johnny Ray Hooks Jr., Boogie Rentrope III, Cecilia Matherne, Corey Matherne, Larry Shelton Jr., Gary Falls, Heather Falls, Heath Falls, Ethan Falls, Rickey Lodrigue Jr., Ryan Falls, Kenneth McDonald, Jacob McDonald. Ellen is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, Chase Landry, Layla Hooks, Trey Clark, Tyler Clark, Terrell Clark, Marrianne Falls, Jazzmen Falls, Gabrielle Falls, Josie Falls, Caden Mayon, Addie Mayon, Leighla Falls, A.J. Tipton, Kendall Lodrigue, Samuel Lodrigue; three brothers, Burlin LaCoste, Alred LaCoste and David LaCoste. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Henry Falls Sr.; seven brothers, Adam LaCoste, Sylvester LaCoste, Elmer LaCoste, Pat LaCoste, Nelson LaCoste, Ellis LaCoste, Donnie LaCoste; one sister, Elevena Holt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home with Brother Ben Thibodaux officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home. The visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Ellen will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery following the funeral services. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Ellen’s name to the charity of donor’s choice. ===================
