Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1503.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services for Margie Roy St. Romain will be held during an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Father Herb Bennerfield will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9:00 AM and continue until time of service. Margie Roy St. Romain was born in New Orleans and raised in Cottonport, LA. A longtime resident of Patterson, currently residing in Bayou Vista, she passed away at the age of 91 on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Morgan City Health Care Center surrounded by her family. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and attending her grandchildren's activities. Having touched so many lives, she will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all. Survivors include her children, Connie St. Romain Robideaux and her husband Jim, Blaine St. Romain and his wife Martha, and Lennie St. Romain; her daughters-in-law, Dodi St. Romain and Linda St. Romain; her sister, Leona Roy Smith; sister-in-law, Iris Roy; 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray J. St. Romain; her parents, Blume Roy and Thelma Jeansonne Roy Brassett; her son, Rodney Paul St. Romain; her daughter, Patricia Ann St. Romain; and her brother, Levy "Buddy" Roy. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason St. Romain, Evan St. Romain, Andrew St. Romain, Joshua Jones, Troy Dinger and David Dinger, Jr. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1111 Lia Street, Patterson, LA ===================
