Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1504.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Wilton Paul Crochet Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Morgan City was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 after a courageous battle against illness. He was 77. Wilton enjoyed spending his time fishing, pitching horseshoes, being an avid LSU and Saints fan, and family cookouts. He served proudly as a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Cross Catholic Church for which he was a member and was an Honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 12179. Before joining that council, Wilton was part of the Knights of Columbus Council 1373 for many years. Wilton also served in the Army National Guard Company B. Wilton leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Dianne W. Crochet of Morgan City; two children, Tammy Landry and her husband, Kevin, of Morgan City, and Wilton Paul Crochet Jr. and his wife, Sabena, of Morgan City; one brother, Junius Crochet and his wife, Mary; one sister, Rosella Mason and her husband, Albert Sr.; five grandchildren, Brandon and Ryan Landry, and Kyle, Justin, and Bethany Crochet, and two great grandchildren, Scott Landry and Jaxx Paredes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Leah Crochet; and two brothers, Harry Crochet and Larry Crochet. The family requests that visitation be observed on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 9am until time of Mass at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. Wilton will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum. ===================
