Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1504.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Ray John Folse, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Teche Regional Medical Center. He was 85 years old. Mr. Ray was a quiet man who loved his family, adored his children, and cherished his grandchildren. Was mild of manner and didn't seek attention. He was a man who knew his worth and had a firm hand shake. Considered a doctor of mechanics, everyone knew to contact Mr. Ray for help with machinery issues. Mr. Ray proudly served the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. Ray leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kim Folse and his wife, Michelle Charitat, of Morgan City; his daughter, Jaimie Rae Folse and her significant other, Steve McNail, of Houma; two grandchildren, Captain Andrew Ray Folse of the United State of Army, stationed in Kuwait, and Jacob Maurice Folse M.D. and his wife, Kayla, of Jackson, MS; two sisters, Eva Mae Nini of Berwick and Angelle Governale of Morgan City. With his passing, Ray has been reunited with his loving wife, Beverly Prevost Folse; his parents, Albert John Folse Sr and Emma Landry, and one brother, Albert Folse Jr. The family requests that visitation be observed on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 8am until time of services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10am. Ray will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will render military honors.
