FREEMAN, ZELLA MARIE GROS 
September 19, 1929 – April 8, 2015

Zella Marie Gros Freeman, a collector of marbles and a lover of babies passed 
away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the age of 85. 

Zella was a native and lifelong resident of Berwick and her memory will linger 
forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Zella is survived by her two daughters, R. Linda Bryan of Berwick and Mercedes 
Voisin and her husband, Ed, of Berwick; four grandsons, Charles Bryan Jr. and 
his wife, Shanna, Shane Voisin and his wife, Calah, Johnathan Voisin and his 
wife, Amie, and Kevin Freeman; one step grandson, Anthony Bryan Sr.; and two 
granddaughters, Amber Landry and her husband, David, and Amy Boudreaux and her 
husband, Mark; ten great grandchildren, Brendon, Drayvan, Noah, Reegan, Kori, 
and Leighton Bryan, Ryleigh Landry, and Nathan, Emma, and Jeffrey Voisin; four 
step great grandchildren, Brittany Boudreaux, Anthony Bryan Jr., Sherry 
Estagne, Ricky Estagne Jr.; and one sister, Dora Hazeldon.

Zella has been reunited with her husband of 64 years, Andrew Calise Freeman; a 
son, Andrew A. Freeman; one son-in-law, Charles Bryan Sr.; her parents, Adam 
Joseph and Felide Delaune Gros; two sisters, Nora M. Gros, and Hazel Autin; and 
one brother, Bernie Hebert.

The family requests that visitation be observed Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 
10am until time of services at 12noon at Hargrave Funeral Home with a rosary 
being prayed at 11:30am.. 

Zella will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum. 

Following services, the family invites everyone to join them at Hargrave 
Funeral Home for food and shared memories of Zella.
