Jane Elizabeth "Mary" Long, 71, a  resident of Morgan City, LA and native of 
Sorrel, LA, passed away on Monday April 27, 2015 at 6:55 PM at her residence in 
Morgan City, LA.

Visitation will be observed Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist 
Church 113 Federal Avenue Morgan City, LA from 10:00 AM until funeral services 
at 2:00 PM. Dr. C. F. Smith, Sr. will officiate the services. 

Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

As a Paraprofessional in St. Mary Parish School System, Jane touched so many 
lives.

Cherished and divine memories will forever be remembered by a special daughter, 
Belinda Bradford-Johnson of Windsor Locks, CT; four brothers, Richard Gabriel 
(Clara), David Gabriel (Jackie) & Russell Gabriel all of Lafayette, LA and 
Chester Gabriel, Jr. (Aprel) of Lakewood, CA; five sisters, Ruth Bradford 
(Jesse Wayne), Diane McGuire & Eva Gabriel of Lafayette, LA, Rosalind Gabriel 
of Willingboro, NJ and Betty Gabriel-Cummings of Sacramento, CA; three 
grandchildren; Mikaela Johnson, Milan Johnson and Milanna Johnson; as well as 
several other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jane also known as "Mary" was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and 
Viola Gabriel, Sr., her husband, Robert Long,  one brother, Herman Gabriel and 
one sister, Rose Edmond.
