A Mass of Christian burial for Lola Barrilleaux Becnel will be celebrated 
Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption. 

She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Father Lloyd Benoit will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the 
services.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at the church from 8:00 
am until time of Mass.

Lola, a former longtime resident of Franklin and a resident of Lafayette, 
passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center at the 
age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph "Bill" Becnel; her 
daughter, Cheryl Christine Becnel; her parents, Paul and Mary Comeaux 
Barrilleaux; one brother, Wilfred "Billy" Barrilleaux; and two sisters, Audrey 
Battista and Inez Borne.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main St., 
Franklin, LA
