Susan Rita Chaisson Cawyer, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Destrehan 
passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. 
She was 67.

Loved ones who will cherish Susan's memory are her husband of 48 years, Raymond 
'Denny' Cawyer of Destrehan; her two sons, Jonathan D. Cawyer and his wife, 
Amy, of Destrehan, and Clayton Cawyer and his wife, Laura, of Covington; one 
daughter-in-law, Troilynn Cawyer of Destrehan; four grandchildren, Hannah 
Cawyer, Ella Cawyer, Donovan Cawyer, and Nena Cawyer; one brother, Clifton 
Chaisson of Houma, and one sister, Kathleen 'Kitty' Hartness of Franklinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton 'Chink' Joseph Chaisson and 
Joyce Olwell Chaisson.

Susan was a loving wife, mother and "nana". She gave her love freely and 
wholeheartedly. She adored her four grandchildren, showering them with her 
affection. She will be missed and forever remembered.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 
10am until time of service at 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home. 

Susan will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum
