Nathaniel was a veteran of the United States Army. Visitation will be observed on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the St Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, LA from 8:00 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial which will celebrated at 11:00 A.M. with Father Vu serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St Jules Catholic Cemetery in Franklin, LA, with Military Honors. Memories of Nathaniel will forever be cherished in the heart of his loving and devoted children, Nathaniel Cummings, IV (Ingrid), Myrna Cummings-Foulcard (Donald) and Natasha Monique Cummings all of Frankin, LA; two sisters, Patricia Aubrey and Margaret Lewis both of Franklin, LA; eight grandchildren; one great- grandchild; one brother-in-law, Wilfred Verdun, Jr. of Frankliin, LA; four nieces and a host of other relatives and life-long friends. Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents; Nathaniel and Mattie Cummings Jr.; grandparents, Frank and Sedolia Williams; one sister, Natalie Cummings- Verdun; one uncle, Thomas Williams; one brother-in-law, Leroy Lewis all of whom have awaited his coming.
