Jackie Ellen Broussard Stinson, born in Morgan City and a resident of Gibson, 
passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jackie is survived by her husband, William Stinson Jr. of Gibson; her son, 
William Christopher Stinson and his fiancé, Anna Lovell, of Gibson; daughter 
Melissa Ellen Reed and her husband, Chad, of Gibson; her parents, H.J. "Bruce" 
Broussard and Mary Ellen Melancon Broussard of Morgan City; two brothers, Barry 
Broussard and his wife, Cathy, of Berwick, and Jerry Broussard and his wife, 
Cindy, of Morgan City; five grandchildren Alana, Logan, and Landon Reed, 
William (Little Chris) Stinson, and Madison Lovell, and four step grandchildren 
Jamie, Helena, Cory Lovell and Kayla Maone husband Josh, and two great 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mark Anthony Melancon and Ester 
O'Donell and Clovis Broussard and Elva Touchet and one brother, Richard Dennis 
Broussard.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 
9am until time of services at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Schriever. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11am at St. 
Lawrence Catholic Church in Schriever. 

Jackie will be laid to rest in the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Gibson 
following services
