George Joseph Vicknair, 59, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away on 
Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Teche Regional Medical Center. 

George is survived by his mother, Joyce Vicknair of Morgan City; daughter, 
Jennifer Vicknair and companion Jennifer Chehardy of Lafayette; step-son, Mike 
Marino of Morgan City; step-daughter, Rhonda David and husband Dwayne of 
Youngsville; brother, Russell J. Vicknair of Morgan City; sisters, Dianne 
Swiber and husband Henry, Jr. of Morgan City; Shelly Leblanc and companion 
Steve Donahoe of Fort Collins, Co; Elizabeth Lindsay and companion Steve Douck 
of Morgan City; Joy Dismer and husband Colonel Paul Dismer of Harker Hieghts, 
Tx; grandson, Luke Marino; and numerous nephews and nieces. 

He is preceded in death by his father, LJ Vicknair, Jr.; brother, Robert J. 
Vicknair; niece, Sarah M. Dismer; and great nephew; LJ Smith. 

George was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend, whom will be missed 
dearly by all who knew him. 

Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on 
Monday, May 25, 2015 and continue at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 9:00AM 
until Mass on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Mass will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, May 
26, 2015. 

Interment will follow at Morgan City Cemetery.
