Fay passed away at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Fay was a very loving and GIVING person. She enjoyed spending her spare time at the casinos and entertaining her family and friends. Most importantly, Fay loved to spend time with her best friend and husband of 49 ½ years, Nelson P. Anslem. She was the owner and partner of Anslem Machine Shop of Morgan City. Alongside her husband, Nelson, other loved ones left to cherish Fay's memory are four children, David Anslem and his wife, Ann, of Boston, MA, Sissy Patin and her husband, Kelly "Noopy" of Cecilia, LA, Kirk Anslem and his fiancé, Teresa McCarthy, of Breaux Bridge, LA, and Shane Anslem and his wife, Heather, of Henderson, LA; two sisters, Linda Keller of Patterson and Wendy Peeples of Morgan City; 18 grandchildren, D.J., Seth, Alexis, Julie, Beth, Bethany, Kale, Kylie, Courtney, Kirk Jr., Joel, Trent, Katie, Dylan, Lauren, Logan, Kelsey, and Haley; 11 great grandchildren with 2 expecting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Rachel Gaspard; three brothers, Dudley Jr., Michael, and David and one sister, Deborah. The family request that visitation be observed Friday, June 5, 2015 6pm to 10pm and again on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 8am until time of services at 11am at Hargrave Funeral Home. Fay will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
