BELL, MARSHALL D., SR.

Mr. Marshall D. Bell Sr., 60, a resident and native of Franklin, died Saturday, 
June 27, 2015, at 4:54 a.m., at his residence following a short illness.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, July 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., at 
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1719 Willow St. in Franklin. 
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with Bro. Lynn 
Fontenot officiating. 

Interment will follow in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Charenton.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Faye Madison Bell of Franklin; one son, 
Marshall D. Bell Jr. of Franklin; one daughter, Yolanda M. Bell of Dothan, AL; 
six brothers, Albert Bell Sr. of Lynwood, CA, Marvin Abraham of Fontana, CA; 
Bruce Abraham, Herbert Abraham and Jacob Bell, all of Franklin; and Ronald 
Valier of Baldwin; four sisters, Mary Jane Lowery and Angelica Jones, both of 
Houston, TX, Cynthia Bartley of Charenton and Shirley Ward of Los Angeles, CA; 
one uncle, Herbert Gasper of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; five grandchildren; and one 
great grandchild.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
