Boudreaux at 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum in Centerville, with Military Honors. Deacon Douglas Hebert will officiate the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ibert's Mortuary on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of services. Jean was born March 14, 1927 in Patterson, Louisiana to the late Albert Boudreaux and the late Mathilde Landry Boudreaux, and passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Eastridge Assisted Living in Abbeville, with his wife at his side. J.B., as he was known by family and friends, was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II and the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 63 in Franklin. He spent his entire career working in the oil industry, retiring from Texaco in 1979. He leaves behind many fond memories and will be missed dearly. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Ramona Concienne Boudreaux; his children, Kirby Boudreaux, Faye B. Lormand and husband Reed, and Faith B. Folse and husband Ronald; his grandchildren, Tiffany Verret and husband Patrick, Tammie Boudreaux, Travis Boudreaux, Adrienne Theriot and husband Nick, Amy Walker and husband Chris, Justin Folse and wife Phallyn, and Jennifer Folse; eleven great grandchildren, Ashton and Hannah Verret, Morgan Clements, Hunter Boudreaux, Cody Boudreaux and wife Ashley, Cory and Courtney Boudreaux, Kaitlyn and Carson Theriot, and Evan and Molly Walker; two great great grandchildren, Addyson and Aubrey Boudreaux; a brother, A.J. Boudreaux; and a sister, Theresa "Sue" Boudreaux. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Sherry Boudreaux.
