Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1506.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for John "Toody" Keenze on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin. He will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum. Father Lloyd Benoit will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, June 15, 2015, at Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the Church of the Assumption from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Toody, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin. He passed away at the age of 50 on Friday, June 12, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family and friends, after a two year battle with cancer. Toody was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be truly missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lynn Robicheaux Keenze; his son, William Patrick Keenze of Baton Rouge; his daughter Randi Marie Keenze of Franklin; his father and mother, John and Verline Keenze; two brothers, Robert "Bobby" and William "Bill" Keenze and his companion Gretchen Field; a sister, Rita Keenze Ware; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be John Sellers, Jay Concienne, Charlie James, Jason Robicheaux, Bret Robicheaux and Jacob Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Blanco, William "Bill Keenze and Robert "Bobby" Keenze.
