JJ was born on October 17, 1970 in Morgan City the son of Paul Donald LaFleur Sr. and Patricia Besse. JJ was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing baseball and softball and was playing on a softball team with his son this summer. JJ was a hard worker who always provided for his family. Any time he would walk into a room he always made his presence known and would put a smile on everyone’s face; JJ never met a stranger. Of all the things JJ did in his life he enjoyed being in the outdoors fishing and going to the camp with his family. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 17 years Angie Bergeron LaFleur of Bayou L’Ourse; his mother, Patricia Besse Stelly of Morgan City; father, George Aucoin Sr. and wife Betty of Bayou Vista; grandmother, Mable Pousson of Bayou Vista; mother-in-law, Sandra Bergeron of Bayou Vista; six children; Cody Rink of Thibodaux, Draven LaFleur and Hannah LaFleur both of Calumet, Draco LaFleur, Le’Jen LaFleur, Bray LaFleur all of Bayou L’Ourse; two grandchildren. JJ is also survived by four brothers, Paul D. LaFleur Jr. and wife Paula of Bayou Vista; Glendon Aucoin and wife Stacey of Patterson, George Aucoin Jr. and girlfriend Sue of Bayou Vista, Kirk Anslum of Lafayette; two sisters, Tessie Fontenot and fiancée Jimmy of Morgan City, Connie Menard and husband Frankie of Calumet; one sister-in-law, Stacy Toups and husband Michael of Bayou L’Ourse; two brothers-in-law, Russell Bergeron Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Patterson and Justin Bergeron and fiancé Rosalie Perez of Bayou L’Ourse; special friends Butch and Kristi Caton; special baby girl, Kelsey Vaughn. JJ was preceded in death by his father Paul Donald LaFleur Sr.; sister, Darlene Terrebonne; grandparents, Anita Poovey, Isabelle Besse, Marvin G. Besse Sr., Elvin Pousson, Joseph LaFleur Sr., Hazel LaFleur; step father, Ray Stelly; father-in-law, Russell Bergeron Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home with Rev. Den Hussey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home with the visitation resuming on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. JJ will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Amelia following the funeral services. ===================
