She will be laid to rest in Ibert's Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Pastor Mark Gowan will conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with visitation resuming on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Evelyn was born in Abbeville, LA on April 5, 1929 to the late Clophe LeLeaux and the late Edolie Broussard LeLeaux. She passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Teche Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. Evelyn, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, was a longtime resident of Bayou Vista. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing scrabble, camping, traveling, sewing and crocheting, and playing skip-bo with her dear friends Jeanette and Celina. She was also a wonderful caregiver and a woman of great talent, which she used to bring joy to those around her. Whether it was through the beauty of her flower garden, which she loved tending, through the gift of music, playing her guitar and harmonica, or through her wonderful cooking and baking, feeding family and decorating family members wedding cakes, she used her talents to make the world a little brighter. Her greatest joys in life, though, came from making memories with her family, such as sitting with her grandchildren hunting for 4-leaf clovers, making their favorite snack of rice and milk with sugar, and just simply being with her children and family. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Sydonia "Dawn" M. Hebert, Frances Dean M. Hebert and husband Hillary, and Billydan Thomas Morgan, Sr. and wife Lisa; six grandchildren, Ronnie Estay, April Grice, Scott Estay, Chad Dupis Sr., Jennifer Merriam, and Billydan Morgan, Jr.; 14 great grandchildren, Bridget Taylor, Josie Estay, Zoie Estay, Alexis Estay, Harley Estay, Tori Estay, Chloe Estay, Ali Estay, Ivi Estay, C.J. Dupis, Colby Dupis, Jordyn Johnson, Shelby Merriam, and Brantly Merriam; one great great grandchild, Maelyn Taylor; her siblings, Paul LeLeaux, Allie Touchet, Dorothy Chauvin, Rodney LeLeaux, Bill LeLeaux, Lawrence LeLeaux, Clophe LeLeaux, Jr., Cheryl Ducote, and Mary Ann Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Thomas Morgan; her grandson, William John Morgan; her parents, Clophe and Edolie Broussard LeLeaux; and her son-in-law, Gene Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be Billydan Morgan, Jr., Scott Estay, Ronnie Estay, Chad Dupuis, Sr., Colby Dupuis, and Brantly Merriam. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of her caregivers at the Patterson Health Care Center, the staff of Southern Care Hospice, and the Sixth Floor Staff of Teche Regional Medical Center, especially Kristen, Dan, Wesley, Tabby, and Emily. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1111 Lia Street, Patterson, LA ===================
