Anita L. Mounier a native of Jeanerette and a resident of Morgan City, passed 
away July 17, 2015 at the age of 74.

Anita worked for the Daily Review for many years and was a wiz at crossword 
puzzles. She enjoyed her trips to the Casino. She loved her vegetable garden 
and sharing everything she grew with everyone.

Anita is survived by her three children, daughter Anna Pesson and husband, 
Raymond Jr., sons Jimmy Mounier Jr. and wife, Anjelle Martin, and Phillip Lee 
Mounier; grandchildren, Raymond III, Jasmine Passon, Joshua, Alex Mounier, 
Courtney Schahn, and Kelsey Mounier; great-grandchildren, Raymond Passon IIII, 
and Laken Mounier. Her sisters, Elodie LaHoste, Audrey Bergeron, and Helen 
Hulin.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Mounier Sr.; parents, Lawrence 
and Anita Verret.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 9am until 2 pm at Hargrave 
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home. 

Anita will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
