Burial will follow in Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in New Iberia (Freetown). Rev. Bobby Hodnett, Rev. James Deal, and Rev. Shane Wiggins will conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at Ibert's Mortuary from 9:00 AM until time of service. Jonnie was born in Lafayette on August 21, 2000 and was a lifelong resident of New Iberia. He passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the age of 14 at his grandmother's home in New Iberia. Survivors include his mother, LaShawn Annionette Spencer; his father, John Benjamin Clark; one sister, Kuandeshia White; maternal grandparents, Frances Lumpkin and Wilton Lumpkin Sr., and John Michael Orphy; paternal grandparents, Ronald Clark and Elizabeth Clark; maternal great grandmothers, Della Rose Spencer and Ruth Daniels; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and family members. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Horace Spencer, Jimmy Orphy Sr., Joseph Tyler and Bertha Tyler, Eugene Clark Sr. and Edna Clark, and Manuel Lumpkin and Lizzie Lumpkin. Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Rios, Robert Clark, Jimmy Orphy Jr., MacArthur Spencer, Jesse Tyler, and Gregory Spencer. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilton Lumpkin Sr., Ronald Clark, John Michael Orphy, and Wilton Lumpkin Jr. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, Franklin, LA ===================
