Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1507.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Memorial services for Mr. Raymond Joseph Frederick, 78, will be held at Ibert's Mortuary on Friday, August 21, 2015, at 12:00 noon, with Father Cedric Sonnier officiating the service. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday until service time. Inurnment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Charenton, followed by Military Honors. Raymond was a native and lifelong resident of Charenton, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at Dauterive Hospital. Raymond was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many and will be truly missed by all. He was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army. He was a painter by trade, loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed shooting pool with his best friend, Byron Smathers. Survivors include six sons, Raydel Frederick and his wife Dawn, Marty Frederick and his wife Pam, Floyd Frederick, Sr., Wade Frederick, Rodney Frederick and his wife Karen, and Rayvis Frederick; four daughters, Christine F. Blanchard, Angela Frederick, Suzanna F. Welch and her husband Randy, and Stephanie Frederick; 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Ann Bourgeois Frederick; one daughter, Virgie Frederick; his parents, Alcee and Edna Crochet Frederick; two brothers, Clarest and Clarence Frederick and one sister, Irene Frederick.
