Vilo, Sr., also known as "Mr. Rudy", age 83, a resident of Patterson, LA, passed away on Sunday August 2, 2015 at 1:50 PM at his residence in Patterson, LA. Visitation will be observed on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 1011 First Street Patterson, La., from 9:00 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. A Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 AM prior to Mass Services. Entombment will follow the Mass Services in the Mausoleum Section of the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Patterson, LA. Those left to cherish wonderful memories of "Mr. Rudy" are his three sons, Rudolph J. Vilo, Jr. (Gwenah) of New Orleans, LA, Randolph Vilo of Patterson, LA and Reginald Vilo (Stephanie) of Charenton, LA; six daughters, Joslyn Cannon (Roger) of Berwick, LA, Beverly Cannon of Patterson, LA, Thelma Sanford Vilo of New Iberia, LA, Yvette Vilo of Patterson, LA, Yvonne Vilo of Patterson, LA and Toni Stevenson of VA; one brother, Dr. James Valeau (Vera) of Hayward, CA; one sister, Dianne Johnson of Patterson, LA and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mr. Vilo was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia Vilo and his siblings. ===================
