Francisco Aurelio Gonzalez-Linares a native of Sagua La Grande Province of Las 
Villas, Cuba and a 52 year resident of Morgan City passed away September 11, 
2015 at his residence at the age of 84.

Francisco is survived by his wife of 57 years Socorro Santiago Linares "Cuqui" 
of Morgan City, sons Francisco Eduardo Linares and wife Teresa Nancy Vitteri 
Linares of Boyds, Maryland and Ignacio Andres Linares wife Melissa Ray Linares. 
Grandchildren Melissa, Eric, Nicholas, Nathan, Crystal and Kristen, great-
grandchildren Emilia, and Liliana. Sister, Maria Luisa Linares, brother Jose 
Luis Linares.

Francisco was preceded in death by his father Eduardo Gonzales- Linares mother 
Luciana Garcia Linares, sisters Rita Jaureguizar, and Maria Josefa Purdon, 
brothers Eduardo Linares MD , Florencio Linares and Carlos Linares.

Visitation will be Friday September 18, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
8.00 am until 10.00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church at 10.00 am. 

Francisco will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
