Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1509.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 12:00 PM at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church in Morgan City for Patsy Marie Vidos Stansbury, a lifelong resident of Morgan City who passed away at the age of 87 on Monday, September 21, 2015, at her home. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Rev. John Locascio will conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Pharr Chapel from 10:00 AM until time of service. Patsy was born in Morgan City on May 20, 1928 to the late Joseph Vidos and the late Magnolia Vidos. She was a lifelong member of Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church and a member of the UMW (United Methodist Women), where she served on the bereavement committee, helping to serve the needs of fellow church members during their time of need. She truly loved her church which was a major part of her life. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her daughter, Wendy S. Walden and her husband Troy of Patterson; her sons, Scott Stansbury and his wife Donna of Lafayette, Kirk Stansbury and his wife Traci of Prairieville, and Tabb Stansbury of Morgan City; six grandchildren, Tabb W. Stansbury, Justin Fernandez, Brennan Stansbury, Lauren Ellison, Erin Richard, and Kori LeCompte; six great grandchildren, Taylor Stansbury, Tallon Stansbury, Hazel Ellison, William Richard, Sophia Fernandez, and Noelle Fernandez; her sister, Josephine Mays of Morgan City; and her brother, Joe Vidos and his wife Barbara of Morgan City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Stansbury; her brother, Billy Vidos; and her sister, Kate Masek.
