He was born on March 11, 1953 in Lafayette, the son of Adio Stelly and Amy Stelly. Donald was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed coaching baseball. He was proud of his children's accomplishments, such as graduating college and performing with the LSU Marching Band. Donald was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Cheryl Vining Stelly of Berwick; mother, Amy Bergeron Stelly of Port Barre; daughter, Emily Carrington and husband Dean of Berwick; son, Don Eric Stelly of Burnside; grandchildren, Deanna, Christopher, Isabelle, William; sisters, Dorothy Stelly of Port Barre, Carlene Stelly Daigle and husband Dwight of Port Barre, Brenda Stelly Smith and husband Lonnie of Chipley, Fl; brothers, Leroy Stelly of New Iberia, Curtis Stelly of Port Barre, Rubin James Stelly of Port Barre; nieces, Stephanie Williams, Tracy Crutcher, Jody Garvin, Valerie Bering, Kellie Landry; nephews, Brian Vining, Shane Stelly, Frankie Stelly, Jacob Benoit; loving dog, Princess Jolie "my dumb mutt"; and "the cat," Missy. Donald is proceeded in death by his father, Adio Stelly. Visitation will be held Monday, September 14, 2015, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Twin City Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 8:30AM until 9:30AM at Twin City Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:00AM at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Donald will be laid to rest at Berwick Mausoleum following Mass. ===================
