Funeral services for Irene Mary Boudreaux Wilbur will be celebrated Thursday, 
September 17, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin. 

She will be laid to rest in St. Helen's Cemetery in Florence. 
Father Lloyd Benoit will conduct the services. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's from 11:00 
AM until time of service.

Irene was a native of Glencoe and a resident of Franklin for the past 62 years. 
She passed away, at the age of 83, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Morgan 
City Health Care Center.

Survivors include her six children, Henry Joseph Wilbur, Milda May Wilbur, 
Merrill Benjamin Wilbur, Gerald Anthony Wilbur, Walter Allen Wilbur, and Eljean 
Marie Wilbur; one brother, Elwood Peter Boudreaux; nine grandchildren, Sabin 
Wilbur, Jamie Wilbur, Natisha Wilbur Savoie, April Lynn Olander Babin, 
Stephanie Olander Duke, Lacey Shinn, Dylan Shinn, Ariel Shinn, and Blake Shinn; 
and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Wilbur; her parents, Joseph and 
Emilda Boudreaux; and three brothers, Vernice Boudreaux, Harold Boudreaux, and 
Raymond Boudreaux.
