Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1511.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Carl Lee "Mike" Boudreaux, was a lifelong resident of Amelia, born to the late Carbet and Ethel Boudreaux on June 12, 1948, in Morgan City. Mike passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, in Thibodeaux at the age of 67 after a short illness. Mike worked for Tidewater Marine as a chief engineer for 45 years, traveling all over the Gulf of Mexico. During his long career, he gained a reputation as being one of the best. As a lasting tribute to his achievements, Tidewater named a ship after him, Boudreaux Tide. When not on the water he enjoyed the Tennessee Mountains so much so he had a second home on the side of a mountain. He had an immense love for his family, spending as much time with them as he could. He will be missed by all. Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Boudreaux; his children, Chantel Ohmer and husband, Jimmy, Lee Boudreaux, and Aaron Boudreaux; his grandchildren Ryan Ohmer, Skyla Boudreaux, Kylee Boudreaux, Kristen Boudreaux, Aaron Boudreaux Jr. and Ethan Boudreaux; a great-grandchild, Kinley Rae; his brothers, Robert B. Boudreaux and wife, Betty, Carbet "Jay" Boudreaux and wife, Sharon, Aubrey Dean Boudreaux and wife, Bonnie, and Ricky Boudreaux and wife, Suzanne; one sister Sandra Bergeron; brothers-in-law, John Christensen, Brian Tabor and Michael Tabor; and a sister-in-law, Trudy Kelly. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Carbet and Ethel Boudreaux; a sister, Brenda Christensen; brother-in-law, Russell Bergeron; and father- and mother-in-law, Alwin and Emelda Tabor. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with rosary services at 7 p.m. conducted by the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will continue Wednesday, Nov. 25, at St. Andrew Catholic Church from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the St. Andrew's Cemetery. ===================
