Funeral services celebrating the life of Samantha "Penny" Roy Faust, a loving 
daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, will be held Saturday, 
November 14, 2015, at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin during an 11:00 AM 
Mass of Christian burial. 

She will be laid to rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. 
Father Peter Emusa will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert's Mortuary in 
Franklin from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 
7:00 PM. Visitations will resume Saturday at Ibert's at 8:00 AM and continue 
until 10:30 AM.

Penny, as she was affectionately known, was a native of Franklin and a resident 
of Centerville for the past two years. She passed away at the age of 49 on 
Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, following a 
brief battle with cancer.

Survivors include her two children, Ricky J. Faust and his fiancé Michelle 
Bain, and Amber M. Faust; four grandchildren, Hunter J. Faust, Rayne J. Faust, 
Camden J. Faust, and Liam M. Faust-Crappell; her father and step-mother, 
Sterling L. Roy and Ginger Roy; one brother, John "Punch" Roy and his wife Jan; 
three sisters, Stephanie Picou and her husband Anthony, Brandi Roy, and 
Danielle Roy; daughter-in-law, Sarah Faust; Companion, Claude A. Tabb; maternal 
grandmother, Joyce Saucier; godchildren, Kassie and Danielle Roy; as well as 
numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Wayne Faust; her mother, 
LeeAnna Saucier; maternal grandfather, Burke Saucier Sr.; paternal 
grandparents, Oliver and Edna Roy; uncle, Burke Saucier Jr. and his wife 
Barbara; and her nephew, Lester Butaud.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
