He was born on June 16, 1936 in Kilgore, Tx, the son of Cecil Miller and Jewel P. Miller. Weldon was a devout Christian who served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Morgan City. He loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren. Weldon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Myra Miller of Morgan City; three sons, Steve Miller and wife Leah of Berwick, Patrick Miller of Morgan City, Mark Miller and wife Pamela of Morgan City; one daughter, Debbie Miller of Morgan City; one sister, Janet Maxwell of Ore City, Tx; twelve grandchildren, Lauren Miller, Jenna Oubre and husband Alex, Josh Miller, Devin Pittman and wife Kaitlin, Dylan Pittman, Dayna Miller, Kasey Kyprianou and husband Michael, Miles Miller, Emily Miller, Wesley Miller, Zachary Miller, Drew Miller; and great granddaughter, Raylie Pittman. Weldon is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Miller and Jewel P. Miller; and brother, Walace Miller. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 10am until service time at First Baptist Church in Morgan City. A Memorial Service will begin 11am. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of South Louisiana and Teche Regional Medical Center for the loving care received by Mr. Weldon. ===================
