She will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's from 11:00 AM until time of service, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 1:00 PM. Father Cedric Sonnier will officiate the services. Lois was a native of Parks and a longtime resident of Baldwin who passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at the age of 77 at her daughter's home in Purvis, MS. A member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin, Lois' life could be summed up in one statement: She loved the Lord. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her three daughters, Jennifer Parro Pendarvis and her husband Eddie, Leslie Parro Sisk and her husband Stan, and Denise Parro Sloan and her husband Billie; nine grandchildren, Sunny George Lopez and her husband Marco, Kyla George Dyar and her husband Brian, Mark Terrell George and his wife Sarah, Krista Pendarvis James and her husband Andrew, Stanley Payne Sisk, Eastan Sisk, Stanton Sisk, Meagan Sloan, and Seth Sloan; eighteen great grandchildren; and three sisters, Dot Finch, Betty Trail, and Mattie Barras. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Solari and Celine Roy Solari; her son, Herbert "Chip" Parro Jr.; and her brother, Larry Solari. Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Pendarvis, Stan Sisk, Billie Sloan, Mark Terrell George, Stanley Payne Sisk, Eastan Sisk, and Stanton Sisk. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lois' nurses, Neva and Liz, as well as the entire staff of Forest General Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to their mother, and also to Father Godfrey, Father Mark, and Brother Ken for the spiritual comfort given in their time of need.
