Betty Hawkins Picard, a native of Commerce, TX and a resident of Jeanerette, 
passed away at the age of 60 on Sunday November 8, 2015, at her home in Sorrel.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Serving as honorary pallbearers 
are John Woods, Carl Woods, Benjamin Picard, William Picard, Oscar Stewart, 
Baylee Woods, Patrick "PJ" James and Tommy Savoie.

Survivors include three sons: John (James Dale Hawkins) Woods, Carl (Carlyn 
David Hawkins) Woods and Tony (Tony Hawkins) Thibodeaux; a daughter, Jennifer 
(Jen Herring) Jumper; seven grandchildren: Baylee Woods, Aiden Woods, William 
Woods, Brenden Wood, Harlan Woods, Elizabeth "Sissy" Thibodeaux and Tony 
"Bubba" Thibodeaux; one great grandson, Brantley Thibodeaux and her mother, 
Marieda Heron Hawkins Jobe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Picard, Jr.; her father, 
Walter Hawkins, her twin brother, Bobby Lon Hawkins and her father and mother 
in law, Milton Picard, Sr. and Marguerite Derouen Picard.
