Leona Singleton Thomas, age 75, a native of Thibodaux, La.,  and a  resident of 
Morgan City, LA., passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 3:10 PM at her 
residence.

Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at New Zorah Baptist 
Church 604 Julia Street in Morgan City, LA, from 10:00 AM until funeral service 
at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Terry L. Joseph, Officiating the services. 

Burial will follow services in the Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan City, LA.

Leona leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Joseph Roger Thomas of 
Morgan City, LA; two sons, Troy Thomas of Lafayette, LA and Joseph Thomas, III 
of Patterson, LA; two daughters, Sharon Bergeron of Patterson, LA and Darlene 
Heard of Chespeake, VA; one brother, Alvin Johnson of Morgan City, LA; seven 
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of of nieces, nephews, 
family and friends.
