Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1512.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson for Captain Houston Colbert, a native of Huxford, Alabama and a resident of Bayou Vista for the past 51 years, who was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at Ibert's from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be Allenferral Colbert, Randall Colbert, Chad Hooter, Chris Daigle, A.J. Daigle, Johnathon Daigle, Timothy Daigle, and Joshua Edwards. Houston is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Croom Colbert; two sons, Houston Allen Colbert and Charles Brent (Bo) Colbert and his wife Ramona; three daughters, Kimberly Colbert Hooter and her husband Ed, Tanna Colbert Daigle and her husband Anthony, and Monic Colbert McChristian and her husband Jason; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son; two daughters-in-law, Audrey LeMire Colbert and Rachel Jordan Colbert; his parents, Randall and Leslie Colbert; two brothers, Edward Colbert and W.V. Colbert; and four sisters, Doris Colbert, Ora Colbert Mattson, Annie Lee Colbert Bos, and Dottie Colbert Padgett. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. ===================
