James John (JJ) Heisler passed from this earth, Saturday, December 19, 2015 in 
Pensacola, Florida. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lily Harvey Jakubek, and wife, 
Geneva. 

He is survived by six children, Allison Crew, Tina Mueller, Victor Heisler, 
Sharon Wilson, Grace Heisler, and John Heisler, 3 sons in law,13 grandchildren, 
and 26 great grandchildren. 

Jay was born to Victor Carl and Zady Ethel (Thompson) Heisler on August 10, 
1936 in New Iberia, Louisiana.

He graduated from Morgan City High school and went on to work as a boat captain 
for Garber Shipyard for 35 years. He enjoyed keeping up with college sports, 
especially LSU. Geux Tigers!

Viewing will be Tuesday, December 22 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral 
Home in Morgan City.
