Memorial services for Loretia Marcantel Plemons will be held Wednesday, 
December 9, 2015, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma during an 11:00 AM 
Liturgy of the Word Service with Deacon Jimmy Brunet officiating. A gathering 
will be held at the church at 10:00 AM. 

Following local services, Ms. Plemons requested her ashes be interred with her 
deceased infant son in Tennessee.

Loretia, a native of Oberlin, was raised in Lake Charles and was a longtime 
resident of Houma until recently moving to Patterson to be near family. She 
passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, in Patterson.

Survivors include her son, Keith Plemons of North Carolina; her grandchildren, 
Joshua and Patrick Plemons; her sisters, Mary Bellard and Frances Daughtery; as 
well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Karl Plemons; and her parents, 
Hillary Marcantel and Delphine Fuselier Marcantel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1111 Lia St., 
Patterson, LA
