Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2015/sm1512.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Nolan "Mickey" Adam Suttoon Sr., 88, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Canon Hospice in Metairie. Nolan was born in Morgan City on January 5, 1927, the son of Dewey and Gertrude Suttoon. Mickey served his country proudly while serving in the United States Army during WWII. In his younger days Mickey was an avid boxer and boxed while he was in the Army. He was a tug boat captain all of his life, working in the oil field, as well as owning his own boat company, Suttoon Towing for over 30 years. He was always there for his family and would help them out whenever they needed him. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Ranney Suttoon Sr. and wife Judy of Morgan City, one brother, Aubrey "Poochie" Suttoon of Bayou Vista; one sister, Aline "Noonie" Romero of Patterson; three grandchildren, Leslie Suttoon, Ranney Sutton Jr., Joshua Suttoon and wife Valerie; six great grandchildren, Blaine, Kailyn, Jonah, Madelyn, Gavin, Gabriel, and Zayla; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and three step grandchildren. Nolan is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mae Suttoon; his parents, Dewey and Gertrude Suttoon; one son, Nolan "Palute" Suttoon Jr.; brothers Melvin and Dewey "Blackie" Suttoon; and sisters, Helen Suttoon and Shirley Dupre. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm. Nolan will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery with military honors given by East St. Mary Veteran Funeral Squad. US Army ===================
