Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Eva Savoie Benoit, a native and resident of Franklin, 
who passed away at the age of 76 on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 8:15 AM at 
the Franklin Foundation Hospital. 

She will laid to rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. 

Bro. Blaise Smith will officiate the services. 
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Benoit, Donnie Benoit, Jeffrey Broussard, 
Sr., Dwayne Darden, Jacob Darden, Blaise Darden, and Jeffrey "J.J." Broussard 
Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Benoit, D.J. Benoit, Tyler Estelle, 
Anthony "Pappy" Cheramie Jr., Trevor Doré, Taylor Doré, and Raymond "Bubba" 
Moreaux Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday at Ibert's from 5:00 PM 
until 9:00 PM and again Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Survivors include her children, Katherine B. Broussard and husband Jeffrey, 
Michael "Mike" Benoit and companion Denise Johnson, Debra "Debbie" B. Darden 
and husband Anthony "Tony", Daisy Benoit and companion Troy Doré, Donald 
"Donnie" Benoit and companion Michelle Durocher, and Sandra Benoit Cheramie, 17 
grandchildren, Heather Pickering and husband Chris, Jeffrey "J.J." Broussard 
Jr., Bailey Broussard, Celeste B. Drummond and husband Justin, Dwayne Darden 
and wife Brandiss, Jacob Darden and wife Emily, Blaise Darden and fiancee' 
Christon Wiese, Tiffany Moreaux and fiancé Desmond Fuselier, Raymond "Bubba" 
Moreaux Jr., Trevor Doré, Taylor Doré, Donald "D.J." Benoit Jr., Ross Benoit, 
Brianna Estelle, Tyler Estelle, Anthony Cheramie Jr., and Clark LeBlanc; nine 
great grandchildren, Kalen, Krislyn, Nicholas, Jillian, Rhee, Ellie, Adalyn, 
Journee, and Josiah; her brothers; Dudless Hebert, Sr., Leroy Savoie; her 
sisters, Lynn S. Metz, Letress Aucoin, Mary S. Derouen, Theresa Schexnayder, 
and Gloria Jean Moreaux; and her special friends, Mr. Ira Peltier and Mrs. 
Fabiola Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ross Benoit; her father, 
Lionel Savoie, Sr.; her mother, Angelle Davis and husband Charlie; and her 
brothers, Lawless Savoie, Sr. and Lionel Savoie, Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc.,
