Shirley Milstead Guidry, 57, a native of Lake Charles and a lifelong resident 
of Bayou Vista passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at her residence 
unexpectedly.

Shirley leaves behind her beloved dog Taco whom she loved very dearly.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Tabitha 
Dardeau Travis of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Saragrace and Clay Travis of 
Tennessee; four sisters, Rebecca Albarado and Dianne Goessl and husband William 
both of Morgan City, Geraldine Hebert and husband Norman of Catahoula, Felecia 
Stanford of Darnell; two brothers, Charles Milstead and wife Greer of Tennessee 
and Houston Cooley Jr. and partner Sina Rink of Morgan City; one aunt, Jeannie 
Brossette of Sulpher; numerous other family members and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Monroe Milstead and Doretha Linn; 
one niece, Dodie Burnett; one nephew Perel Legendre Jr.; one brother-in-law, 
Adam Albarado Sr.; one aunt, Mary Charmine.

Services were entrusted to Twin City Funeral Home, Morgan City, Louisiana
