JONES, GUY MAURICE SR.

Guy Maurice Jones Sr., 54, a resident and native of Morgan City, passed away on 
Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his residence at 8:23 p.m.

Visitation will be Friday, January 22, at Siracusaville Recreation Center in 
Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m.

Guy was a veteran of the United States Army.

Memories of Guy will forever remain in the hearts of his four sons, Derrick 
Lewis and Guy Jones Jr., both of Morgan City, Rondell Dugan (Shara) of Katy, TX 
and Quinten Kelly of Patterson; one daughter, Chanelle Derouen of Dallas, TX; 
two brothers, Keith Jones (Sydney) of Gonzales, and Patrick Jones of Baton 
Rouge; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives 
and friends.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, and both his maternal and paternal 
grandparents.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City, Franklin, Jeanerette and Houma is in charge 
of arrangements.
